Traditional Dance Forum

A diverse network of organisations and individuals, supporting Scotland’s traditional dance community.

Established in 2014, the Traditional Dance Forum is a membership organisation, and a Scottish charity (SC045085), dedicated to the advancement of all forms of traditional dance in Scotland.

We wish to see a rich and rooted future for traditional dance in Scotland with opportunities to learn, share, perform, create and enjoy traditional dance.

The Forum is one of three founders and members of TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland) which recognises and supports dance, music, storytelling and seasonal customs as part of Scotland’s evolving culture.
